About Me

My Philosophy

I’m Jacqueline and I’m happy you have come to my website.

Helping people thrive is my passion.

As a psychotherapist it is a privilege to join people on their journey of self-discovery, growth and healing from pain.

I know that reaching out is not easy. It is difficult to be vulnerable and share your pain with a stranger.

If you come to see me, you can expect someone who is warm, friendly and approachable.

I believe everyone is unique, so I will meet you where you are at, and together we can explore what’s holding you back, and find ways to help you live a more fulfilling life.

Academic and other relevant qualifications

I am a fully qualified humanistic and integrative psychotherapist with a graduate diploma in clinical psychotherapy from Turning Point/UCC.  I have an MSc in psychotherapy and the experiences of psychotherapy in people with Type 1 diabetes was the focus of my dissertation. I am an accredited member of IACP and I abide by their code of ethics and practice.

In addition to this, I have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Psychology
  • Master of Arts (Linguistics)
  • Master of Business Studies
  • Working sensitively with Victims of Rape and Sexual Assault (Dublin Rape Crisis Centre)
  • Gender Identity and Expression Training (Transgender Equality Network)
  • Tusla Children First Child Protection Training
  • Introduction to Solution Focused Brief Therapy (The Learning Curve)
  • Suicide Prevention Awareness and Training (SafeTalk)
  • Strategies for Supporting Student Mental Health – (workshop in UCD)
